Sometimes when you're most in need of friends, they will flock to you - or at least to your hats.

Who needs friends?  So Mr. Brown thinks to himself - especially since he has a comfortable home and such a smart hat.  But just when he believes he has the perfect life (if it is a bit lonely), a lively woodpecker and his friends take a particular fancy to Mr Brown's unusual hat.  From then on his life will never be the same .....
